Allstone & Tile is growing rapidly and needs to expand its design and sales team. Allstone offers high end kitchen and bath products, including custom fabricated stone surfaces, luxury tiles, and cabinetry. Our knowledgeable in-house design consultants are available to provide direction regarding material choices that meet the overall needs and expectations of the project. Our design consultants have regular, direct contact with all of our manufacturers and distributors and stay up-to-date with current trends. We are happy to work directly with builders, architects, interior designers, contractors and homeowners.

Kitchen and Bath Designer

The position of Kitchen and Bath Designer at Allstone and Tile is a challenging and rewarding role that helps our customers with a wide variety of needs. You will use your design skills to create beautiful and functional kitchen and bathroom spaces for our customers. This is a fast-paced environment, and you will need to be able to think on your feet and provide solutions quickly. If you are a creative person who enjoys a challenge, this is the job for you!

Key Responsibilities

The following areas of focus will be central to your role in this position:

• Greet and engage contractors and retail customers and determine needs.
• Create sketches of proposed kitchen and bathroom designs.
• Use design software to create 2D and 3D representations of proposed designs.
• Work with customers to select and specify materials, finishes, and fixtures to be used in designs.
• Prepare cost estimates for kitchen and bathroom designs.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following attributes:

• Three to five years of professional experience in kitchen and bath design or related fields.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• A high degree of creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
