Director Talent Acquisition @ RAZOR | Software Development Government Contracting Oracle Database Administrator Description: Razor is looking for an experienced Jr. Oracle Database Administrator with experience in AWS & PostGresSQL experience implementing and maintaining one or more complex databases to work on a 100% remote project with our government contracted client on their project through the Department of Veteran's Affairs. The role will require candidates to obtain a Public Trust Clearance and fingerprinting. This is a multi year, long term contracted project. Responsibilities : Maintain responsibility for implementing and maintaining one or more complex databases. Analyze the design, development, and delivery or implementation of data solutions, including architecture design, prototyping of concepts to proof of concept, analysis of the development of standards, design, and test plans, code, module design development and testing, data solution debugging, design and implementation of a solution that follows efficient design techniques, and development that meets and exceeds the intent of the design of the data solution. Assist with the planning and engineering of the organization's databases. Monitor performance, scalability, and security and evaluate existing database design to determine the necessary updates and integration requirements of a new design and to ensure final solutions meet organizational needs. This role requires team members to be part of an on-call rotation. Staff will need to be able to respond calls on a 24/7 basis. Each rotation lasts one week, and staff will be on call every 4 to 6 weeks depending on team size. You Have: 3+ Years of experience with a complex build system 3+ Years of experience with installation, maintenance, and administration of a relational database management system (RDBMS); Postgres and Amazon Redshift preferred 1+ Years of experience with Cloud-native database solutions, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) Relational Database Service (RDS) and DynamoDB Ability to design and develop complex SQL queries and reports to retrieve required data Experience with database partitioning and microservices Knowledge of Agile methodologies or the software development life cycle (SDLC) Experience analyzing and tuning queries to improve performance Nice If You Have: Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and Crossplane Experience with Tableau Experience with GitHub and Liquidge source control tools Razor is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from diverse candidates. #J-18808-Ljbffr RAZOR
