Job Summary
A leading global fintech company is looking for a Junior Backend Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java and Golang to join their digital asset and trading platform team. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java (Spring Boot) and Golang
- Build scalable RESTful and gRPC APIs for trading, market data, and exchange connectivity.
- Support automated crypto trading algorithms and wallet infrastructure.
- Work with distributed systems, messaging tools like Kafka, and in-memory stores like Redis.
- Collaborate in CI/CD processes using Docker, GitHub Actions, and Kubernetes
- Write clean, secure, and testable code.
- Troubleshoot backend issues in production/staging and contribute to performance tuning.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5 years of backend development experience with Java and Golang
- Experience with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, and microservice architecture.
- Familiarity with blockchain protocols and crypto APIs (e.g., FTX, Binance)
- Prior work with automated trading bots or personal GitHub projects in trading/crypto
- Experience using CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of concurrency, multithreading, and backend scalability
- Comfortable in Unix/Linux environments, with scripting skills in Bash or ksh
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Sybase, or NoSQL databases
- Background in financial services, trading systems, or market data platforms
- Knowledge of DevOps, container orchestration, and security best practices
- Long-term contract (12+ months with potential extension)
