divh2Intern Construction Engineer/h2pIntern will work closely with engineers on designing electric and natural gas facilities. This includes estimating costs, engineering support, and project management. There will also be opportunities to visit projects in the field, and to learn about the operation of NorthWestern Energys electric and natural gas systems./ppSupport engineers in design of electric and natural gas facilities for new construction, relocates, and capacity projects./ppWork with new service requests, assist in providing services, checking site locations ahead of crew for efficiencies./ppAssist customers with NorthWestern Energys New Construction process./ppWork with customers on growth orders and construction estimates./ppResearch Company records on vintage gas pipe to determine replacement plans./ppWork on infrastructure mapping/GIS information to improve data./ppParticipate in organizational work meetings./ppDriving to project sites, meetings, or other work-related locations may be required./ppLifting of materials up to 35 pounds./ppAll NorthWestern Energy employees are required to adhere to company safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct Ethics./ppEnsure all actions are consistent with NorthWestern Energys values, mission, and strategic business objectives./ppDemonstrate and maintain a good safety record./ppValid drivers license and satisfactory driving record./ppMust possess strong interpersonal and written communication skills./ppProficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint./ppPrefer Engineering Student (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil/Construction)./ppStudent must have completed Sophomore level or higher by start date./ppMust be in good academic standing./ppMust Provide GPA in Resume upon application./ppGet Into Energy - Energy Industry Fundamental 2.0 certification is a plus (click here to certify at no cost)./ppWe are an equal opportunity employer.
