Job Description
Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization to hire an "Instructional Designer"
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to analyze, assess, and document learning needs.
- Draft and translate complex procedures into user-friendly training content and standard operating procedures.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable learning programs across modalities (on-the-job, classroom, eLearning, blended).
- Evaluate existing training content for effectiveness and alignment with learning objectives.
- Apply instructional design methodologies and Lean principles to produce timely and relevant learning solutions.
- Utilize tools like Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline) and Adobe Cloud for course creation.
- Implement knowledge/competency assessments and feedback loops to continuously improve learning content.
- Ensure timely upload of finalized materials to content repositories and learning management systems (LMS).
- Collaborate with Global Learning Services (GLS) eLearning Team for content deployment in Cornerstone.
- Facilitate instructor-led and/or on-the-job training sessions, including Train-the-Trainer programs.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field required.
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in instructional design and adult learning theory application .
- Expertise in course development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Cloud ).
- Proficiency in developing SCORM-compliant web-based training.
- Experience delivering both classroom and hands-on training.
- Strong proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms, particularly Cornerstone.
- Experience in GMP Biologics Manufacturing preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP, SingleLIMS, and Veeva systems is a plus.
Additional Information:
Duration: 6 months
Pay range: $60-$62/hr. on W2
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
