The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in architecture or design, paired with expertise in healthcare facilities. This role requires exceptional project management skills, knowledge of healthcare operations and regulations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of healthcare architecture and design projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Coordinate project teams—including architects, designers, engineers, and contractors—for cohesive and efficient project delivery.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and documentation, adapting as needed to changing requirements.
  • Ensure project activities comply with all applicable regulations, healthcare standards, and accessibility requirements.
  • Provide expertise in MEP, structural, and vendor coordination across a variety of project delivery methods.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and stakeholders to understand needs, workflows, and patient care philosophies, integrating these into project execution.
  • Facilitate project meetings and presentations, effectively communicating status, milestones, and outcomes.
  • Identify and manage risks, implementing mitigation strategies to support project objectives.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the ongoing development of healthcare design knowledge within the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or related field.
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Jira, Deltek) and design/drafting tools (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM).
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, AIA, or NCIDQ preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary range: $98,000 – $157,000 (commensurate with experience, skills, and location).
  • Robust benefits package, including employer-paid medical, dental, vision, short/long-term disability, and AD&D coverage.
  • Retirement plans, including 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
  • Paid Time Off and flexible paid holidays.
  • Voluntary benefits, including life and pet insurance.
  • Monthly reimbursement for technology/phone and parking.
  • Supportive, collaborative work environment with significant opportunities for professional growth.
