Job Title: Field Technician
Job Description
This position is for a field technician for a landfill in Sylmar, CA. They monitor and maintain recovery systems, conduct field tests, and adjust gas flow rates to minimize emissions. They also maintain and repair equipment like wells, collection lines, and flares.
Hard Skills
+ Pulling and cleaning pumps, running lines, and light maintenance as needed
+ Performing pipe fusion (manual typically)
+ Will be on site at a landfill watching project work and assisting as needed. Will need to be able to walk up and down a landfill site and work outside in the elements
+ Inspecting and performing preventative maintenance on various HDPE pipe systems.

Work Environment
Will be working outside 50-60% of the time. At the end of the day, they will be entering data and uploading it to their system. The dress code requires steel toe boots, jeans, and PPE which will be provided. The team consists of 8 technicians, 2 project managers, and 3 electrical engineers
