Our client, a leader in the electronics industry, is seeking a Gas and Chemical Technician to join their team. As a Gas and Chemical Technician, you will be part of a dedicated team supporting essential gas and chemical operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Gas and Chemical Technician
Location: Santa Clara, CA
What's the Job? - Support and lead the technical demands of site gas and/or chemical equipment.
- Ensure compliance in operation and maintenance procedures, emergency preparedness, and drive flawless execution.
- Act as a subject matter expert for gas, chemical, and/or slurry equipment, providing technical support and problem resolution.
- Participate in project and sustaining operations, quality management, and preventative maintenance.
- Support installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting, and repair of various gas and chemical systems.
What's Needed? - High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in maintenance or as an equipment technician.
- Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment.
- Knowledge of gas and chemical systems in a semiconductor ultra-high purity operation.
- Military training in mechanics or an Associate/Bachelor degree in electronics, design, or engineering preferred.
