Description

• Enroll all providers with insurance companies to ensure proper payment for services provided. This includes enrollment into contracted and non-contracted (Government) plans processed via paper and electronic applications.
• Verify and update provider information with insurance companies to ensure accurate and timely enrollment.
• Research various questions on claim issues relating to provider enrollment
• Maintain all insurance contracts as well as conducting periodic reimbursement audits of patient accounts
• Adapts and works with various insurance websites to find information as well as learn other systems used for this role.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent required; Associates degree in business preferred. Minimum of two years of provider enrollment or credentialing experience required. Knowledge of insurance billing practices normally acquired through previous experience. Computer proficient in Microsoft Office applications. These include but are not limited to Excel, Word, and Outlook. Detail orientation with a high degree of accuracy in all aspects of work. Strong organizational, written, verbal, problem solving and relationship building skills. Possess conflict resolution skills. Displays exceptional customer service qualities and professionalism.
