We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift and Reach Truck Operator for a startup manufacturer in Anderson, IN.

**Reach Truck experience is required**

$18.00 + $1.00 Shift differential

3rd shift 11:00 pm-7:30 am

• Training schedule:
  • Week 1: 1st shift (7:00am–3:30pm)
  • Week 2: Split between 1st shift (7:00am–3:30pm) and 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm)
  • Week 3: Transition to 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:30am)

Some overtime may be required. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating reach trucks and other equipment to efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations practices and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and Reach Truck to transport materials safely within the warehouse.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring safe and accurate placement of goods.
• Perform order picking tasks, selecting items based on customer orders with precision.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
• Timely reporting of equipment issues and maintenance needs.
• Assist in maintaining an organized and clean work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Experience

• Required: reach truck operator experience > 1 year. Forklift operator experience > 2 years.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is required.
• Scanning equipment and computer proficiency
• Knowledge of equipment operation and the ability to adhere to safety standards are essential.
• Strong ability to follow instructions accurately while working independently or as part of a team.
