Position Title: Forklift Operator

Wage: $18.00/hour

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 5:00am - 2:30pm or 10:00am - 7:00pm

Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, transport and stack agricultural products within the warehouse and shipping areas
- Handle incoming and outgoing shipments according to company procedures and safety standards
- Use scanning equipment or warehouse systems to ensure accurate product movement and inventory tracking
- Perform daily pre-operation safety inspections of forklifts and promptly report any issues or malfunctions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and product integrity
- Assist with inventory control by following established policies and procedures
- Protect product quality during handling, stacking, and transportation
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and maintain efficiency
- Follow all company safety and quality guidelines, including PPE and forklift operation standards
- Perform additional warehouse or logistics duties as assigned by supervision

Requirements for Forklift Operator:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous forklift operation experience required; certification preferred
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company and OSHA standards
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, bend, stand and move for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent communication, attention to detail and teamwork skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment handling agricultural products
