About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced HVAC Estimator with a strong network of General Contractors (GCs) in New York and New Jersey. This role is crucial for expanding our competitive edge in the industry by bringing in new business, bidding effectively, and securing contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid on New Construction Projects – Specializing in Plan & Spec work.
Leverage Your Network – Bring an established pipeline of GC relationships to drive business.
Read and Interpret Drawings – Accurately assess project requirements and cost estimations.
Engage with GCs – Proactively call, connect, and build new business opportunities.
Prepare and Submit Bids – Ensure timely and competitive submissions.
Collaborate with Internal Teams – Work closely with project managers and leadership to align bidding strategies.
Be a Key Player – Compete aggressively to win contracts and drive revenue.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven track record as an HVAC Estimator in the New York / New Jersey market.
Network: Strong relationships with local General Contractors – a must.
Industry Knowledge: Expertise in new construction, plan and spec projects.
Technical Skills: Ability to read and analyze blueprints, drawings, and project plans.
Proactive Business Development: Must have a history of bringing in jobs and winning bids.
Location: This is an in-office role at company HQ – no remote work. (Plainfield, NJ)
