We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Entry Level Event Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the planning and execution of a variety of events, from corporate functions to social gatherings. As an Entry Level Event Specialist, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of event management while collaborating with a diverse set of clients and partners. Your primary focus will be to assist in all stages of event planning, ensuring that every detail is meticulously handled and that each event runs seamlessly.

Pay range:
$21.50 - $31.50 hourly

Job: Full time

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of various events
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary services
• Aid in the creation and management of event budgets
• Help develop event timelines and calendars for smooth execution
• Assist with marketing efforts to promote upcoming events
• Support the team during events to ensure all logistics run smoothly
• Gather and analyze feedback post-event to improve future planning

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event planning software
• A passion for event planning and a desire to learn
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed
