ELECTRICIAN HELPER

Location:  Hattiesburg, MS

Type:  Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $15/hour

PrideStaff Hattiesburg is seeking an experienced Electricians Helper on behalf of our client in Hattiesburg, MS. In this role, the Electricians Helper will perform the following duties:

• Assist the electrician on the job with tasks of his request
• Cut metal components for installation.
• Measure materials or objects for installation or assembly
• Test electrical equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning
• Install electrical components, equipment, or systems
• Repair electrical equipment
• Inspect electrical or electronic systems for defects
• Thread wire or cable through ducts or conduits
• Drill holes in construction materials
• Fabricate parts or components
• Clean work sites
• Maintain construction tools or equipment
• Move construction or extraction materials to locations where they are needed
• Order construction or extraction materials or equipment
• Assemble temporary equipment or structures
• Dig holes or trenches
• Remove debris or vegetation from work sites
• Position construction or extraction equipment
• Break up rock, asphalt, or concrete
• Weld metal components and apply paint to surfaces

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven previous experience helping or assisting an electrician
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screen
