Wagalicious Walks, LLC is looking for responsible, caring and fun-loving individuals who genuinely love dogs to join our team of dedicated pet care providers! This is a year-round part-time position, Monday-Friday approximately 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Who is Wagalicious? Wagalicious Walks is a growing provider of outstanding dog walking and pet-sitting services. Our focus is on the safety and well-being of the animals in our care-and of our great people who care for them. We offer the highest level of service possible to our clients in Framingham, Natick, Sherborn and the surrounding communities.
As a Wag Walker, you'll work with dogs of all sizes and personalities, spend lots of time outdoors and get in great shape. This is a wonderful job for people looking for mid-day part-time work, including retirees, stay-at-home parents, or people attending school or working part-time in the evening. We also have opportunities for boarding and overnight visits.
Job Description - Walk client dogs, monitor dog play groups, and transport dogs as needed
- Take dogs on off-leash adventure walks
- Pick up and dispose of dog waste and clean up accidents (they happen!)
- Provide water, food and medication as needed
- Care for cats and other small pets
- Communicate effectively with clients
Qualifications - Available year-round Monday-Friday approximately 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. and occasional holidays and weekends
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle
- Able to commute to Framingham, Ashland, Natick, Sudbury, Wayland and surrounding communities
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Comfortable handling most dog breeds, sizes and temperaments (previous experience working with dogs a plus)
- Must have a mobile phone and email access
- Willing to work in all weather conditions
- Able to attend bi-weekly staff meetings
- Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills
- Highly organized, dedicated and trustworthy
- High school diploma or GED required; college education a plus
