Description We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this contract position, you will play a key role in organizing and managing documents to ensure accurate storage and easy accessibility. The role requires strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to maintaining the integrity of files and information. Responsibilities: - Scan and digitize physical documents to ensure proper electronic storage. - Organize and upload files into designated drive folders for seamless access. - Accurately categorize and identify documents to ensure they are saved in appropriate locations. - Collaborate with team members to clarify document requirements and resolve any ambiguities. - Maintain a consistent and systematic approach to document control processes. - Ensure compliance with organizational standards for document handling and storage. - Review files for completeness and accuracy before uploading. - Assist in identifying improvements to enhance document management workflows. - Provide support in managing land-related documentation, leveraging administrative expertise. - Uphold a business casual dress code while working onsite. Requirements - Proven experience in document control, scanning, and electronic file management. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain attention to detail. - Familiarity with managing land-related documentation or administrative tasks. - Proficiency in using drive folders and file management systems. - Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. - Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions for clarification. - Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy in document handling. - Comfortable working in an onsite environment that requires a focus on accuracy and organization.
