Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. (Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.)

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in product design or mechanical engineering, preferably within the automotive or off-road industry. Experience with custom fabrication or off-road vehicle design is a plus.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, etc.). Experience with rendering software is a plus.

  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of materials, welding techniques, and manufacturing processes (CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, etc.) as they relate to off-road and automotive applications.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot design issues, propose solutions, and think creatively to meet project requirements.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly convey design concepts and technical specifications to both the engineering team and non-technical stakeholders.
