Responsibilities

1. Support and troubleshoot databases such as CockroachDB, Neo4j, Azure SQLMI, Azure MySQL.
2. Build, configure, and support database cloud infrastructure in AWS using industry-standard deployment tools.
3. Understand AWS cloud services like EC2, S3, CFT, EBS, IAM, AWS CLI.
4. Configure and support monitoring and alerting tools like DataDog, AWS CloudWatch for proactive detection.
5. Gather technical requirements from customers for data migration projects.
6. Provide production support, capacity management, and maintain high availability & disaster recovery for large-scale databases.
7. Work with scripting languages such as shell scripts and Python.
8. Manage incident, change, and problem management processes effectively.
9. Diagnose and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests swiftly.
10. Maintain clear, concise, and organized technical documentation.
11. Communicate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
12. Establish strong relationships with business and technology partners.
13. Adopt and promote Agile practices.

The Expertise were looking for

1. Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent.
2. 10+ years of IT database experience with progression to technical lead.
3. AWS or Azure certification is preferred.
