Qualifications Required: - Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Interventional radiology experience
- critical care experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills
Preferred Certifications And Licenses Required - BLS from the American Heart Association
- Additional Certification may be required
- Active NJ RN license or compact RN license with NJ endorsement
Scheduling Requirements - Day Shift, 20 hours per week
- Monday Friday, every other weekend and holiday rotation - if applicable
Essential Functions The role of the Professional Registered Nurse is to provide quality nursing care in collaboration with the medical staff and within the guidelines of the New Jersey State Nurse Practice Act. It is the responsibility of the Professional Nurse to implement the Hospital's Mission and goals through established policies, procedures and performance improvement activities. Implementation of these goals occurs through organization and administration of individualized age specific professional nursing care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital. The understanding of the principles of growth and development will be incorporated to assess each patient's age specific needs and determine age specific treatment modalities. The RN Coordinator is responsible for implementing care and coordination of services by assisting with scheduling of patients, obtaining authorizations, corresponding with referring physicians, maintaining adequate supplies on the unit, entering statistical information, entering charges for billable procedures and working with Finance to ensure accuracy of accounts.
