Job Description

Our client, a local university, is seeking a contract to hire Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume recruiting efforts across various departments. This role offers the perfect opportunity for a recruiter with a passion for sourcing top talent in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About You:

• 1+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume hiring.
• Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (Taleo preferred).
• Experience with social media recruiting, job boards, and networking strategies.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal employment laws.
• Exceptional time management, organization, and communication skills.

The Job:

• Manage full-cycle recruitment, from job postings to offer negotiation.
• Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies for administrative, professional, and technical roles.
• Screen and interview candidates, ensuring alignment with job requirements.
• Coordinate and conduct reference and background checks.
• Partner with hiring managers to create effective recruitment plans.
• Track and report on hiring metrics and recruitment expenses.
