About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Strategy and Marketing Officer (CSMO) to take on a senior strategic role with a focus on marketing, strategy, commercial excellence, and operations. The CSMO will be responsible for the financial performance of each business unit and will work closely with the Country GM to develop and execute in-country strategic marketing and commercial plans. This includes leading market research, identifying opportunities, and creating and evolving go-to-market strategies. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in the medical device or pharma industry, with a preference for those who have also worked in a top-tier management consulting firm. Strong leadership, commercial management, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work in a complex business environment and drive change. Candidates for the CSMO position at the company should be highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic, rapidly growing organization. The role requires a clear thinker with a servant leadership mindset, who is innovative, assertive, and commercially intense. The successful candidate will be expected to build and manage systems and processes that scale, and to be an exceptional change agent with a process-oriented approach. A strong background in commercial operations, including PnL management, and experience in a matrix organization with a focus on influencing and conflict resolution, are also key qualifications.
