Job Title: Chemist
Job Description
Join our innovative team as a Chemist, where you will be responsible for testing finished products, raw materials, in-process samples, and stability study samples. Primarily, you will focus on new ANDA products, specifically Oral Dose products. You will perform sample testing using titrations, pH measurement, specific gravity assessments, and HPLC within the Quality Control department.
Responsibilities
Perform daily use of HPLC, GC, TOC, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and pH meters.
Inspect supplies and ingredients used for the production of pharmaceutical products.
Review SOPs and laboratory protocols for accuracy.
Conduct some instrument validation.
Adhere to GMP and FDA guidelines.
Ensure comprehensive documentation for testing protocols and executed tests.
Maintain data integrity in compliance with FDA guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a major in Chemistry (or related)
3-5+ years of HPLC/GC and Pharma/cGMP experience.
Good working knowledge of GMP and GDP.
Excellent documentation skills, including good handwriting for laboratory notebook documentation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington Heights, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr.
