Substitute Teacher K-12th Grade

Work Year: Continuous
Employee Type: Full Time and Part Time
Salary: $300 Full Day (4.0 hours or more); $150 Part Day (3.99 Hours or less)

Basic Function
Under the direction of a site principal, principal’s designee or other appropriate administrator, plan, implement, monitor, and assess a classroom instructional program.

Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree

License, Certifications, Bonding and/or Testing Required
Valid Teaching Credential/30-Day Emergency Permit

Working Conditions
The working environment described here is representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position will include office and school environments.

Contingent Upon Hire
• Candidates must provide proof of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) reading (no older than 4 years)
• Pass a criminal background check by the Department of Justice and possibly by the FBI, have a valid teaching credential/permit on file with CTC.
• AB-2534 Employment History: You must provide every current and/or previous LEAs (Local Education Agencies) for which you have been employed using the provided link to the form.
