THIS ROLE IS REMOTE HOWEVER YOU MUST RESIDE IN NY WITH AN ACTIVE RN LICENSE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE ROLE. 

Day to Day Responsibilities:
Care Review Clinician will assist with all UM standard Inpatient, Outpatient and Custodial Care processes and workflows. Assist with any requests, verbal notifications for denials/partial denials to both member and provider, participation in IDTs, personal queue management and clinical reviews. Meet expected productivity and performance productivity expectations are set a by the company based on the local HP time studied performance. Standard full capacity and performance reviews expectations is 30 cases a day – there will be a 6-8 week ramp up period to full capacity post successful completion of new hire and HP specific training.

 

Job Requirements 

• A valid and unrestricted RN license in the state New York. 
• 2 years of utilization management experience 
• Computer Savvy
• Advanced in Microsoft Offices such as Word, Outlook, and Excel 
• A secure workspace including the basic necessities: Desktop/Laptop. Headset, Mouse.
