A Massachusetts-based services company is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new SAP ABAP Developer to their team. Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within SAP systems. Develop and maintain complex SAP ABAP programs, interfaces, reports, and enhancements to meet business needs, ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance. Utilize advanced ABAP programming techniques, including ABAP Programming on HANA, to leverage the capabilities of HANA database for optimized performance and efficiency. Apply object-oriented ABAP principles for modular, reusable, and maintainable code development. Utilize SAP Data Dictionary for effective management and manipulation of SAP data structures. Design and implement comprehensive solutions using SAP technologies such as Function Modules, SAP Enhancement Framework, and Reports. Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality, integrity, and compliance with technical specifications. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for SAP systems, resolving issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of SAP development activities with overall business objectives and priorities. Perform other duties as needed. Qualifications: Minimum 6+ years of SAP experience with at least 6+ years focused on ABAP development. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, or a related field. Strong expertise in object-oriented programming. Experience with the FI modules of SAP S/4HANA and finance business processes. Experience in ABAP on HANA development, version 2022 or higher. Experience with standard APIs in S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform Integration capabilities and tools.
