As an Astrodynamics Systems Engineer, you will contribute to a Systems Engineering team in mission planning and scheduling upon program award, with a preference for those who have worked within the Space Command and Control (C2) domain. This position supports the Space & Airborne Systems (SAS) division, a great team of talented professionals with world class technical expertise who take a collaborative approach to engineering and enjoy working together. We have a long history of innovative and exceptional performance; we have earned our place as a trusted provider to our customers.In this position, you will bring your systems engineering background to a role where you can make a broad impact to programs and projects that are critical to our customers!Essential Functions:Participate in the development and integration of mission planning and scheduling systems for space software testing to ensure system reliability and performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system requirements and resolve technical issues.Contribute to the creation of technical documentation and user manuals.Modeling and SimulationStay current with emerging technologies and advancements in the Space C2 domain.Management of requirements.Ability to lead a technical scrum team.Travel as needed (a minimum of 10% travel expected).Works under general supervision.Qualifications:Clearance: TS/SCI Security ClearanceBachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experienceBachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related fieldExperience with mission planning and scheduling systemsExperience in software development, testing and validationExperience with astrodynamics concepts and applicationsExperience in testing and troubleshooting systemsPreferred Additional Skills:Experience in the Space C2 domainExperience with Scala, MatlabSDA domain experienceExperience with MBSE techniques to support system design and developmentStrong written and verbal communicationExperience working successfully both independently and in a team environment through an entire build cycleSelf-motivated learner/self-starter
