The Assistant Project Manager will support the Project Manager and project team in coordinating and managing construction projects from conception through completion. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills. This role provides an opportunity for growth and advancement within the company. This person will work out of our Roseville, CA office.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Support in the preparation and management of project schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of contracts, change orders, and other project documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and daily reports.
  • Assist in managing project close-out procedures, including punch list management and obtaining necessary certifications and documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and handling correspondence.
  • Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner, adhering to company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on commercial or ground-up projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and quality standards.
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus.
