Allied Health - Anesthesiologist Assistant POSITION TYPE: Allied Health SPECIALTY UNIT: Anesthesiologist Assistant LOCATION: York County, SC SHIFT: Day JOB TYPE: Full-Time Permanent Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Anesthesiologist Assistant to join our dynamic anesthesia team. You will work directly under the supervision of an anesthesiologist to deliver high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing medical procedures. This role combines technical expertise, clinical knowledge, and patient interaction to ensure a safe and effective perioperative experience. Responsibilities:

• Assist anesthesiologists in developing and implementing anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia under the direct supervision of an anesthesiologist.
• Monitor patient responses and vital signs before, during, and after anesthesia administration.
• Perform preoperative evaluations and gather patient medical histories.
• Prepare and maintain anesthesia-related equipment and supplies.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, making necessary adjustments in collaboration with the anesthesiologist.
• Assist in pain management interventions, including epidurals and nerve blocks.
• Stay current on best practices and advances in anesthesiology through ongoing education.

• Master's degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program.
• Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) credentials.
• Anesthesiologist Assistant License in State of Practice.
• Strong technical and clinical skills in anesthesia administration.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
