Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Travel Cleaner to join our Commercial Cleaning team. This is a full-time travel-based role responsible for ensuring various commercial sites—including travel accommodations, warehouses, and common areas—are consistently cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
This position is ideal for someone who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, flexible, and dependable , with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. You must have a reliable vehicle , be consistent with attendance, and available to work weekends and evenings .
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to various assigned sites to perform detailed cleaning (including hotels, vacation homes, and warehouses).
- Sanitize and clean bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
- Replenish towels, toiletries, and supplies to ensure proper stock and presentation.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and disinfect surfaces to maintain cleanliness.
- Clean mirrors, windows, and other glass surfaces.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies; report shortages as needed.
- Ensure all tasks meet company/client standards and deadlines.
- Identify and report maintenance issues or safety concerns.
- Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with clients and team members.
- Support special cleaning projects and emergency cleaning requests as needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred, but not required.
- Must have your own reliable vehicle for frequent travel between job sites.
- Excellent attention to detail with high standards of cleanliness.
- Capable of working independently in changing environments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand for long periods, and perform physical labor.
- Clear communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends .
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in travel-based or hospitality cleaning roles.
- Familiarity with green or eco-friendly cleaning products and methods.
Expected Weekly Hours: 35–40 Hours
Typical Daily Shift: 6–8 Hours (including a 30-minute lunch), Thursday to Monday. Hours vary by day. Weekend work required.
